LYRICS

Seasons

Autumn winds come flowing in and take me to my bed
Where I can rest awhile and have a place to lay my head
Autumn leaves fall from the trees with subtlety and graceful means
I thank God I'm alive to watch it all

Winter arrives right on time and the cold sends shivers down my spine
And I sip hot chocolate inside this log cabin that is my shrine
I see the snowflakes drift swiftly but slowly toward the ground
And I thank God I'm alive to watch it all

Nothing stays the same as everyday I grow older
But change is something I've learned to embrace
Time passes by and it only makes me bolder

Seasons change -- it snows, it rains and spring is finally here
With new life poured into the earth to make flowers appear
Trees that lost their leaves proceed to grow them back with graceful means
And I thank God I'm alive to watch it all

In summertime I'm feeling fine; the sun is shining bright outside
If ever I'm in the mood, I'll get my car and take it for a drive
Then I'll watch the sunset reflecting off of the ocean wide
And thank God I'm alive to watch it all

Nothing stays the same as everyday I grow older
But change is something I've learned to embrace
Time passes by and it only makes me bolder

Nothing stays the same as everyday I grow older
But change is something I've learned to embrace
Time passes by and it only makes me bolder
