LYRICS

A Cloud In A Jar

I really want to catch a cloud in a jar
But I'm thinking that it'd probably be pretty hard
Maybe I could take a plane up there beneath the stars
And see if I can catch a cloud in a jar

But if I took a plane up there, would I stand on the wing
And hold the jar to see if I could catch anything?
Well, that sounds pretty dangerous; I wonder what I'd bring?
Hey, I could try a jetpack, or a parachute, I think...

I really want to catch a cloud in a jar
And I'm pretty sure I think I'm pretty smart
There might be a scientist somewhere who'd tell me I'm taking this dream a little bit too far
But I really, really, really, really, really want to catch a cloud in a jar

I really want to catch a cloud in a jar
And sing it lots of songs with my guitar
We'll run and play and hide and build a fort in my backyard
But first I need to catch a cloud in a jar
And then we'll never, ever be apart
Until the time you have to leave, when you'll still be a part of me in my heart

I'll set you free, but you'll always be my perfect cloud in a jar
